The Lake County Conservation Council, Inc. invites the public to tune into an online forum on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 6:30 p.m.  Chelsea Wisner will speak on Using Conservation Easements to Secure a Wildlife Corridor through Lake County.


Chelsea Wisner is an ecologist specializing in conserving wild Florida.  Since 2017, she has ventured across the state with leading conservation organizations like Archbold Biological Station, the Avian Research & Conservation Institute and the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission to research, monitor, and manage threatened and endangered species and their habitats.  Currently, she is the Land Protection Manager for Conservation Florida.  Founded in 1999, Conservation Florida is a non-profit organization centered in Orlando.  Its mission includes protecting Florida’s Wildlife Corridor and freshwater supply.
