Seminole County Commissioner Lee Constantine will speak on Seminole County’s Strategies for Protecting Rural Areas. Before being elected to the Seminole County Commission in 2012, Commissioner Constantine served in the Florida Senate, the Florida House of Representatives, and the Altamonte Springs City Commission. The forum is free and open to the public.

Conservation Round Table hosted by LCCC & UUCLC

The Conservation Round Table will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Lake County, 1235 Mt. Homer Road, Eustis. This event is open to members of not-for-profit conservation organizations serving Lake County. The guest speaker will be Lake County Commissioner Sean Parks and his topic will be "Lake County’s Strategies for Protecting Rural Areas."

LCCC Online Public Forum: Citizen Advocacy Tips for Protecting Lake County’s Rural Areas

Deborah Shelley and Cindy Newton will speak on "Citizen Advocacy Tips for Protecting Lake County's Rural Areas. " Ms. Shelley is President of the Aquatic Preserve Alliance of Central Florida and serves on the board of LCCC and the Friends of the Wekiva River. Ms. Newton is a long-time Lake County resident and environmental advocate, and frequently speaks at local government meetings.
